#Matchbook romance my eyes burn update#
I'll update this list when/if more dates are added. Other support for the tour includes Hedley and Rock Kills Kid (joining July 5, I believe). YC has a couple of dates listed that it looks like Matchbook won't be playing, so I left those out. I've compiled the confirmed dates that Matchbook are playing with Yellowcard. Just an FYI, they play the whole song, but there are parts where they're just playing and not singing. I took soundcheck videos of "Portrait" & "You Can Run, But We'll Find You"ĮDIT: Here's portrait.

Matchbook playing "Surrender" during soundcheckĪs soon as I get the other two up on there, I'll post them too. So now I give to you, for your viewing pleasure. I know this is kind of old, but the first time I tried to put it on youtube, youtube was being a bitch. So who's going to the NY show? I'll be there. Yanked from their myspace, oh please tell me someone hacked their account & this isn't true :(įor those of you who aren't subscribed to the mailing list. We hope you guys will understand, and we hope you will look forward to the next time you hear from us. This is our chance to leave on a good note and forge ahead in the world to see what else is out there. So yes, today is a sad day, but it is also a good one. You will not be forgotten, and hopefully the music of Matchbook Romance won't be either. We love all of your stories of traveling across the country just to see us play one show, and we love all the amazing gifts you guys have handcrafted for us personally. We thank all of you for letting this thing we started into your hearts and for holding us in such high regard. We're going to miss all of our adoring fans, and friends that we've made on this adventure. Its a decision that we thought we would never have to make, but unfortunately, after 5 years its a decision that best suits our situations. This was not at an easy decision for us to come to, as it seems it's taken months for the words to even form on the tips of our tongues. Because it is on this day that we, the members of Matchbook Romance, have decided to part ways and go on an indefinite hiatus.

It's a youth large.Ĭomment here or email me: picture Collapse ) I'm looking for $10-12 (including shipping) or the best offer I can get. It's in good condition besides slight cracking of the front design. Ends at 3:40, untitled hidden track starts at 7:40.I want to sell one of my old Matchbook shirts, so I wanted to see if anyone here was interested before I took it to eBay."You Can Run, But We'll Find You." – 4:08.The track "Monsters" was featured as the lead single from Voices, going on to be featured in video games such as Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, Madden NFL 07 and Arena Football: Road to Glory. Hence "there are voices in the walls." Some of the lyrics to the hidden track can also be found in typos in the lyrics of the other songs. This panel can be aligned with parts of the album's artwork to reveal secret messages. Inside the album's packaging is a small plastic panel, with alternating black and transparent strips. The cover of the album was designed by Shawn Harris from pop punk band The Matches. The band chose to tune the all their guitars down half a step to help with the change. Vocalist Andrew Jordan adopts a much different vocal style for this record than their previous, bringing the band closer to the second-wave emo sound.
